Our very own garden: local freshness
The neighbour’s grass is always greener? Not at Hotel Latemar. We love our homeland and the natural gifts it provides us with. And so, it is no coincidence that our vegetable garden, located above the hotel, is our no. 1 partner. This is where we grow salad, chard, and aromatic herbs; the same ones you find at our vegetable buffet during dinner or in the side dishes on our menu. They’re always fresh, always delicious. And to end on a sweet note, we offer seasonal fruits from our trees, like kiwis and grapes.
Macelleria Pellegrin: quality since 1961
A name steeped in history. Since 1961, the butcher shop of the Pellegrin brothers, who happen to be our relatives, has been our go-to place for premium meat in Vigo di Fassa. The brothers combine ancient recipes, tradition, and cutting-edge techniques to create top-notch products such as meats and cured meats from animals raised freely in the pastures of Val di Fassa. They also offer preserves and organic honey. And of course, we buy from them – they are family, after all!
Pescheria Rossetti: truly unique
There’s plenty of fish in the sea, but there’s only one Pescheria Rossetti in Val di Fassa. Just a stone's throw from the Avisio stream, you’ll find this high-quality fishmonger’s shop that sources from a controlled supply chain. Anyone familiar with the IGT Trentino salmon trout we serve here at Hotel Latemar knows how fresh their fish is. We’ve been buying from them for years, and we can confidently say that they sell the best fish in the whole valley!
Pastificio Felicetti: made in Val di Fiemme
It all started back in 1908 for this pasta factory nestled in the heart of the Dolomites, when Grandpa Valentino decided to use spring water for the dough and pure mountain air for drying. It was a great idea, and their pasta is proof of it. Pastificio Felicetti has always provided us with the best pasta from the Val di Fiemme.
Alps Coffee: perfection in a cup
A family tradition passed down for generations, with meticulous selection of beans and slow roasting for a coffee with a strong and aromatic flavour. Since 1890, the South Tyrolean Alps Coffee roastery has reached the pinnacle of success without ever compromising on quality. A story to savour sip after sip at breakfast and in our café. Whenever you’re in the mood for a taste explosion.
Cose di Tè: an art to be cultivated
Fabiola Ruggeri, the founder of Cose di Tè, has turned her dream into reality. As a lifelong tea enthusiast, Fabiola personally selects her teas, infusions, and matcha by visiting plantations in Asia. Her passion for tea is something we share, and it has brought us together in a wonderful collaboration. We visit her together with our tea and wine sommelier Gessica to get the teas for our Afternoon Tea Ladin and our loose leaf tea tastings. After all, we know that her teas come from the best plantations, and the quality is evident with every sip.
